new LCD TV/Monitor recommendation?

Well I'm looking to replace my old Scepter 42" 1080p HDTV that ive been using for my computer monitor for a long time (better part of a decade now )with a new one and im looking for some ideas/recommendations.
I would like to probably stay around the 40" range , 1080p etc, low input lag, refresh rate etc. Mostly play FPS games like COD or Diablo mostly
So anyone using larger HDTV for pc monitor and have any recommendations?

So you're looking for a TV that's exactly like what you already have? Did your existing one die or what are you looking to improve on?

Ya its on its way out, color,brightness etc having issues so looking for new one

any idea what is the input lag on that 40 in model? how about the 42 ? also any big diff in performance for gaming between E and M models ?

thats response time, not input lag, 2 diff things, but it is real cheap
