New LCD Technology?

Sounds interesting, but it sounds like total bs for now. Where are the details? As long as we're talking about new LCD technology. I finally saw a LCOS display at Fry's. It was made by JVC so you know it sucks. I hope some better companies come out with them.
 
I wonder if this is just the feed forward technology that Mitsubishi first tried to develop about 2 years ago. It seemed like they had problems with it at first but maybe they've solved them by now.
