New laptop

I am trying to buy a laptop somewhere down the road that can handle Star Craft 2 and Star Wars the Old Republic on their highest settings without any lagging. No lagging no crashing. So i would like to know what are the best laptops to handle this, and perferably the cheapest at the same time. I don't want the lowest settings on these since the most basic Dell Latitutde computers can handle that, i want the most advanced settings..

I was first recommended to Alienware and XPS but then my cousin and friends said Alienware is not worth the price. Instead they recommended an Acer.
Can someone please recommend to me what are the best and cheapest computers to fully handle Star Craft 2, Old Republic, and the Sims 3?
I also play Shogun Total War but its mainly Star Craft 2 and Old Republic.

Take a look at any of the Sager / Clevo botique vendors - imo best bang/$

I would suggest a quad intel ivy bridge processor and at least a GT650M or higher video card. Alienware builds nice systems, but are definitely overpriced. Personally, I prefer Asus.
I think they are of good quality in general, and are reasonably priced. You might also check Dell outlet. I believe I saw a decent laptop there recently with a quad ivy bridge and a GT650M for around 1000 dollars. Check New egg and if you live near a Microcenter, they have some good deals.

Unless you find an extremely good sale you will pay around a thousand dollars for a laptop that can do what you want.

Are you committed to a laptop? You can get much better performance for the dollar in a desktop?

What about Acers or an Acer desktop? Since my friends said Acer's were some of the best computers available and they are very cheap

and another thing about desktops: Can you have a desktop in a closed area like putting a desktop in a cubby or should it always be in an open area, never closed off at all because my Dell dekstop was in a closed off cubby like area and it crashed and broke
