im thinking of buying a new one. i want to game a bit. What kind of games could i play with a Go7600 and does anyone know what the specs are of that card?
 
It's about on par with the MR X1600, a little better in some games, a little worse in others. It would be best to choose the cheaper notebook if you have a choice between the two cards (if the two notebooks are comparable in all other features).

How much money are you looking at spending? How about screen size?

You may consider looking at notebooks with MR X1700 or Go 7700. They are the die-shrink of the X1600 and 7600 Go.

That looks like a really good deal. I'd definitely go for that if you could. Could you post a link for it too? Someone else in another thread was looking for something similar, but I couldn't find anything for them under $1250.

very good deal, especially with 2gb. i would try getting a better CPU but if u can't, it's alright. i think the 7600 can run BF2 fairly well on medium settings
