I just got a Sager 3790:

Centrino, P-M @ 1.7 w/2MB lvl.2
1024 ram
ATI 9700 mobility 128 meg
60gig 7200 rpmer

I installed the latest Omega drivers after hearing from a friend with the same laptop that they actually work. Now, I know it isn't the best test out there, but it should work for comparison purposes:

3DM '03 scores:
factory drivers/default speeds (445 core x 250 ram): 2847
omega drivers/default speeds: 3331
omega/460x260: 3466
omega/479x265: 3553
omega/502x265: 3628

There was some crazy artifacting near the end of the tests at 479x280, so I figure that's about the ram's limit.

How would you know if the core is too hot or shouldn't be clocked any higher? I mean, if there're no problems, I'll just keep raising it I guess! :)

The other thing is CPUZ says the ram is only at 100 MHz. It says it comes with DDR333, so that seems way off. I don't know if the ram can be dynamically underclocked like the processor, or if DDR333 is just the cheapest ram available and P - Ms just use DDR2100 basically. Any ideas?

The other thing is how do games work? Well, Dungeon Siege is playable at full rez (1024, max for DS) and 16xAF 8xAA highest qualities.
Halo runs at 1024 all settings no AF pretty well; I haven't tried it yet while overclocked.

Thanks for reading the mini-report :)
