does it come in automatic?

The car SS are coming to get you. Please don't try and resist, it will only make it harder on you...

So it doesn't support automatic then? I'm not impressed, automatic has been around for a long time. I could buy a car with an automatic transmission for way cheaper than this.

Uh it's only available with an automatic. There is no manual available. Yes I am serious.
Truth.
In really high end vehicles, an automatic is often better. No human can analyze that much engine and traction data all at once and make as good a decision in as short a time.
I know that a great insult to all the Andretti wannabe's but its the truth.
I can.

I wonder with cars like this of which only 20 are made how long you'd be unable to drive it if you had a serious problem, like a proprietary part for the drivetrain decided to die or something. Surely there are some critical parts to the car not shared with other vehicles. I wonder if in extreme circumstances, say in a few years when Lambo runs out of any extras they create, if you had to get a repair they'd literally have to fabricate a new part. I bet that would be a PITA waiting for a repair.

I bet having a custom shop fabricate a part would still be cheaper than ordering an official part from lamborghini.

Well, a lot of it is based on an upgraded Murcielago platform, so it might not be that bad.

I actually got to see a Reventon in person, I think it was this spring. It was parked at RUF along with a new CTR and an Enzo. I seriously doubt I will ever see such a stunning assembly of supercar legends together like that again. Hell, it's even doubtful that I'll ever see a Reventon in person again.

The 20 cars are the roadsters only, the Reventon coupe is a 'full production' for Lamborghini so they should have plenty of parts. I believe the coupe stickers for over $1mil as well. That said, I love the look, although in something like this I'd take a coupe. Lambos are usually one of the more 'exotic' looking supercars to begin with, and then they came along with the Reventon and redefined exotic IMO.

Reventon coupe is a 20-unit limited production run as well. Early rumors had the production pegged at 100, but the produced Reventons all have */20 stamped in the cabin. Very very exclusive. Mainly it's the body that is different though, I'd imagine drivetrain components to be basically interchangeable with the Murc.
