You could put it in the lease that the new tenant has to install it.

Hell, if it's for his rental, he'd better have it installed...just to cover his ass. If he doesn't and a renter gets hurt...lawsuit time.

It's idiot insurance. It only comes into play when someone sets a roaster with a huge turkey or joint of meat with stock sloshing aroundnitnin the pan on the leading edge of thenoven door. It should never be done period but, I'm sure some risk management type forced the company to include it to limit liability. Anyone stupid enough to do it in the first place is stupid enough to find another way to hurt themselves or set the place on fire.

I did appliance delivery from 18-22 in the summers to get through school.... 95% of the people wont install them. they do work and yes the range can tip but its mostly a problem if you have little ones that open to door to climb on top. Then it becomes a problem. otherwise really not a issue for most people..

Just level it.. easy to do and bam your done
