Ah, so you took the shitty job instead of waiting. At least you got a job. I may or may not be working next week...

I'm in the exact same boat dude. Good luck to us all.

At least you have a job. Quit your fucking crying.

Shut up. Don't trash the guy just because he's not satisfied with the work he's doing in "hard times". We've all been there before. Its not your place. Idiot.

call centers suck ass. but you need to stick this one out for as long as you can. a job is a job and in this economy that is gold. i am in similar situation but with regards to my part time job. i have to stand for more than 5 - 6 hours a day, which normally wouldn't be a problem but i have since developed severe pain in my feet that has me pretty much ready to drop the job. every morning i fear standing up because i know how much it will hurt. but i cannot leave the job becuase it helps pay the bills and keeps us in our home.

there are too many uncertainties in this economy, but one certainty is this, if you have a job, then you've got a paycheck. stick it out. it will get better and you will find something better suited for you eventually.

good luck.

i filed for unemployment when i was laid off. i haven't told unemployment anything yet.

ok, so keep track of how much you earned since you were laid off. that will be needed. when it comes time to file for your weekly, just mark down that you earned so and so amount during that time period, and you haven't returned to work full time yet, that's all.

unemployment allows you to do temporary work while still claiming. just claim the amount you earn every week and it'll adjust your payout for that week.

fyi, they WILL see you worked, so hiding it may invalidate your unemployment.

if you want to be absolutely sure you can always call the dept. of labor in your area. they should be able to answer everything you want. they should have sent you a guide book as well how everything works.

i have NO intentions of lying or trying to deceive them at all. i could end up even worse than i am now if i did that.

i'd rather be doing this job than doing Bubba in FPMITA prison. at least this job is better than some things...

I'm some big AT badass! Pontifex, you're weak and unappreciative of your job!

/sarcasm

Some of you other guys are real toolbags.
