Surprising that took as long as it did...

It's a surprisingly unhelpful article. It doesn't say anything about how the trojan works, what versions of Java are affected, or how (if at all) it's triggering a local privilege escalation exploit to install itself as an admin user on Mac OS X.

I would personally update to java update 22 it fixes 11 critical flaws.
