Now Daniel Craig is about to become the biggest seducer of all - Ian Fleming's James Bond.
The actor, who found fame as Geordie in the BBC series Our Friends in the North in 1996, got the job after an 18-month mission to replace Pierce Brosnan.
Scores of others, including Law himself, Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell and Orlando Bloom, were considered but rejected.

"I was terribly upset. It was a real body blow," the Irish star said in an interview with The San Francisco Chronicle, breaking his silence on the decision by producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson to replace him.

"I was looking forward to making (Bond) edgier and grittier -- and for all of that to go down in one phone call was highly disappointing," Brosnan said, adding that he had been invited to make a fifth Bond film but that negotiations suddenly collapsed without explanation.

WTF. They listed him with all of the worse possible Bonds.
 
They havent had a strong Bond since Roger Moore and I didnt consider him terribly good when compared to the best Bond, Sean Connery.

Brosnan imo was a pussy and this guy looks like a used car salesman.

Sad really.

Edit: They were actually considering Orlando Bloom?

lmao Ill at least say this guy would be better than him. But they need a strong character. I know this sounds cheesy but I honestly think the singer Robbie Williams would make a great Bond.

Actually, Dalton replaced Moore... he was a good Bond after Connery, though a different style to him.

DC doesn't have the lady-killer looks at all... he looks more like a "Q" or "M"
