New iPhone release date?

my birthday is on 05/06 and my parents wanted to get me something id use everyday, i love my iPhone 4 but and wanted to get the 5, but i hate to get the 5 only to have them release a new edition 6 weeks later, any ideas out there on when the new iPhone will be released?:colbert:
 
so should i wait until august to pick up the 5 for $100 or will the 5s be worth extra Benjamin?
 
I think it really depends what new feature won't be available on anything other than the 5s at launch. Since, we have no information about this, who knows.

The new iPhone is supposed to be go back to around where the release schedule was prior to the 4S and 5

The iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, and 4 were all released in June, July.

Release date 1st gen: June 29, 2007 (2007-06-29)
3G: July 11, 2008 (2008-07-11)
3GS: June 19, 2009 (2009-06-19)
4: June 24, 2010 (2010-06-24)
4S: October 14, 2011 (2011-10-14)
5: September 21, 2012 (2012-09-21)

So I would say it will be released at the end of June or beginning to mid July

But I also knew Aug. Perhaps it will be different this time.
 
I was just really guessing around that time frame since the latest iPhone releases have been around that. It may be sooner, but I don't know if I'd wait. I love my 5, and can't imagine the 5s (if that is what it turns out to be) being much of an improvement, based on Apples current tick-tock type release cycle.
 
I would put my money on an August release date for iPhone 5S. That seems to be line with the rumors and honestly seems to be in line with logical positioning for a release of that product line.

Do you know any links that shown August. And are you sure the next generation of iPhone would be iPhone 5s but not iPhone 6?

You use the English language every day, but you use it poorly. Your parents should enroll you in an ESL class for your birthday.

We have no idea when the next iPhone will be released. Release dates are all here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_iOS_devices#iPhone You can extrapolate and guess that it'll probably come in the fall.
 
I think the current rumor is that it will be the same form factor as the 5, so most likely it is the 5s, announced at Apples iConference or whatever they call it.

I have no information to comment on the date, but we can be fairly certain, based on previous releases, that it will be a 5S.
