Gizmodo has similar percentage predictions posted. They're very different.

When that photo came it, it was weird. It made me instantly doubt purchasing the Nexus One and switching to the cheaper T-Mobile.

What does it mean to have a touch sensitive case? Wouldn't that be annoying because if you're just touching your case it does stuff?

I agree with Divide with one addition. 64GB, OLED and a better camera.

I agree. There's no way Apple is going to put in a removable battery. That'd return a little control to the customer, blasphemy.

Possibly a dual core CPU, depending on when it actually ships.

Only things I agree with are the better camera, OLED and 64gb. I highly doubt any of those other additions will happen.

I kind of hope they dont go OLED cause I use my phone outside all the time and most of the newer OLED screens are absolutely unusable in any sunlight at all.

No dual core, no removable battery, no front facing camera.

Dual-core doesn't sound all that crazy.
Texas Instruments has recently announced the OMAP4 series of SOCs that include the ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore. If Apple can build a system around it and maintain good battery life, they most certainly will. And why not, they'll charge and arm, leg, and kidney for it anyway.

Same new core tech as the Nvidia Tegra 2, specifically the Tegra 250 chip (Tegra 2 is a SOC).

As the Cortex-A9 is simply an update to the Cortex line, the entirely Cortex line using the ARMv7 instruction set, with A9 just employing some new tricks compared to the A8 line... I imagine it wouldn't take a great deal of work making a new OS version work just as well on both the A8 series and the A9 series. Considering the iPhone 3Gs employed a Cortex-A8 chip, as do the Moto Droid and Palm Pre... Apple might want to up the ante. And well, they need to if they want to stay relevant in terms of hardware potential. Like I said, Tegra is gaining in popularity thanks to the reveal of Tegra 2 (and the Tegra line wasn't exactly hurting, but wasn't seeing a ton of business, unlike TI with the OMAP SOCs). Tegra 2 using a multicore Cortex A9, Qualcomm showing off the upcoming Snapdragon chips >1.0ghz and (and multicore? regardless, based on ARMv7, so Qualcomm going from Cortex A8-based tech to A9 isn't exactly far-fetched), and TI announcing the OMAP4 series... basically unless Apple is retarded, they'll have dual-core.

Then again, Apple is retarded. It's easy to get that way when you can whip fanboys up into a foaming-mouth frenzy as if your new product was touched some Deity.

And again, with Apple's methods in mind, the tablet will likely feature one of these Cortex-A9 chips, and maybe just include a faster Cortex-A8 in the next iPhone, or a single-core A9.

LOL @ the statistical odds of the features, who in their right mind thinks Apple will put in a replaceable battery?

I use a magic mouse, and it would be irritating as hell to have a touch sensitive back on my phone, and using it would be counter intuitive, I'd hate it...

Memory, who cares, 64GB sounds possible.

The phone upgrade is a given, and I guess the LED flash will happen sooner or later.

A dual core cpu would definitely shake things up, but I wonder what that would do to battery life?

OLED pretty likely

DVR, no way... Apple's going to go to cloud storage of music & video.

Front facing camera? not likely at all, iPhones are killing the wireless carriers already, that would bring them to their knees...

Anyone see Apple's stock today? It went up 5% on the announcement of an announcement :D

a front facing camera is retarded when video calling isn't supported in the US. I suppose you could have a skype voice chat thing, but no phone does that anyway. Fring I suppose can do video calling, but not many US phones have front facing cameras simply because it isn't a US carrier thing. Video calling uses a lot of horsepower. Even the WinMo phones don't have skype video capabilities yet.

I have a simple question, what's the point of dual core when you're only running one application at a time? There's no need for it to have a dual core and it'll just eat more battery life.

They keep saying that they want to move the iphone into more of a gaming market if they could. A dual core system would boost the graphics capabilities by a lot, and if they designed it properly the 2nd core wouldn't be used at all unless running the games/apps that need it.

Also, with a new phone comes new OS features... so they may just start doing multitasking.
