A couple of my friends from high school started an online comic. It is somewhat in the spirit of penny arcade except it follows a longer storyline. I told them I would spread the link around.

There are some pretty funny ones mixed in there. They have definitely incorporated their own weird blend of humor. For instance. Some of them may be hit or miss. Knowing the kids it is based on is an advantage, but they do have a pretty good overview of all the characters.

If anyone wants to give them a look their website is www.redbrickroadstudios.com. You may have to read most of an episode to get a good deal of the jokes as there is some build up. Other than the comics there is some other cool stuff there.

Pretty good. I might check out a few more. I love irony. But it ends depressed.
 
I like the comics, but there were too many colors... It was hard to read the text because I felt like my eyes were being pulled in so many directions.

I did notice something like that... but didn't think it was the colors
 
Well they have definitely noticed the sudden attack of attention. Thanks to all who checked it out... they appreciated the traffic.

I am also a huge fan of the little notes they have on the side of each. Personally I think some of them are much funnier then some of the comics.

no. it sucks. the art is terrible. but that can be ignored. but the story sucks. the jokes suck and there is NO direction.


it seems they are trying to be diffrent for the sake of being diffrent.

but at least they are trying.

i have to agree. not that i could do much better, but the art is terrible. the specific episode you linked was not funny at all. i didn't bother to look at any other episodes.
