Anyone notice what seems to be a bug in IP6.0 where if you are doing work in Excel or various other programs, it seems like it quickly refreshes the program you're working with. It isn't really a blanking of the page but rather a very very quick refresh. It's quite annoying and is a PITA when you're trying to work on an Excel worksheet. Can anyone else confirm this? I'm using the new IME3.0 with the IP6.0 software that it came with. This happens on two computers of mine. Once I uninstall the software the problem goes away.

Here is a better way to describe what I see. Basically if you open up Windows Explorer and hit F5, you'll see the screen refresh. That is what I see when I switch to Excel or Outlook after about 7-10 seconds of waiting. Thanks to Rocky for giving me the exact description.

^^ Happening to me, also in PhotoShop and Max. For which I replied to you in the GotFragHardware thread as well.

PRAISE ALMIGHTY JESUS, WE HAVE CONFIRMATION. YAHHHHHHHH BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Rocky, that is EXACTLY what I see and am talking about. We need to bring this to the forefront! After a while it becomes a pain in the ass to keep seeing that thing refresh. It is only certain programs. So far I've been able to recreate it with Outlook, Outlook Express, Excel and Photoshop. I know I saw it with a few others but I can't think of the programs off the top of my head.

Also, I contacted Stu who wrote this aritcle and he claims to not be able to recreate this bug.

At least I have confirmation and I know it is not IP6.0 interfering with any other software as I tested a box that just had Windows installed with SP2 and it did the same thing.

Hey Nocturnal, as I replied to you on the gotfrag hardware forums, and to those who might also be experiencing problems, the solution is simple: just go into your CTL+ALT+DEL panel, go to "Processes," click on "ipoint.exe" and "End Process." To disable it from starting up ever again w/ Windows, go into your RegEdit startup list. Ever since disabling ipoint, I no longer experience any problems!
