At least they bumped up video resolution (you're still a sucker if you pay for broadcast TV shows though).
Seriously though, xvids at 652x352 (or whatever that res is) upsampled to 720p look 100x better than anything on iTunes. H264 has so much more potential though 🙁

Yippie 🙁 I'd love to see it be 3" tall by 1.5" wide by .4" thick. And an FM tuner.

I've been waiting for the Creative ZEN V Plus (4GB) to come out.. it measues in at 2.7" x 1.7" x 0.6" and 1.55oz... and it has an FM tuner... but the 8GB Nano at the education discount might be a better value.. ahh 😕

as the crappiness of FM radio is quite an important reason for buying an ipod or something similar, i have yet to figure out why anyone wants the extra cost of having an FM tuner built in.

i'd much rather have an AM tuner, can't really get local sports talk on ipod, as of yet.

Because I use my MP3 player at the gym. And at the gym, the audio from the TVs is broadcast over FM. And sometimes I want to listen.

i'd rather have both FM and AM.

FM tuners for gyms that have large TV's in their workout areas. they transmit the sound on certain FM stations.

So.... No iPod cell phone, no widescreen iPods, and you still can't get any MacBook's with a Core 2 Duo processor? Lame. It seems like the only product that got a major redesign was the Shuffle.

Maybe Dell should start offering product announcement press conferences, as even they could come up more exciting product releases than this one 🙁
