Since so many people thought the 40Gb Maxtor was a deal at $115 I thought I'd post this deal over at Planetupgrade.com

$103 for the drive plus $10.34 for delivery = $113.34 delivered. :D

I bought my cpu from planetupgrade and they got it to me in two days. So, as far as I'm concerned they are a good place.

BTW, I am not Brian! :D

Be especially careful about the warranty. IBM is notorious for not honoring the rebate on OEM drives. If you can't find any information about warranty when you buy the drive, it might not have any warranty! I'm not kidding about this. If the drive is only covered when your get it serviced through the OEM dealer, make darn sure the company is going to be around two or three years down the line.

nobody to answer phones on sunday. can't ask about warranties on products is from oem dealer and/or ibm.
