Have had this board for just two weeks now, all new from Neweeg and it just wont stop. Very good stable board with no issues.

4.48 with no HT for simming

or 4.2 with Ht on for 24/7 multitasking

It is setup to run Autodesk 3DS 12, Photoshop and FSX, basically a FSX scenery design and sim machine for massive chunks of the planet rendered in 1 foot or 13 cm resolution.

Anyway...I love these Do's and combined with the New Asus board it is just superb. 840 CoolerMaster provides the space and the Megahalems provides the cool with just one 1200 rpm Nochtua and just a little attention to details this just plain works! So where is Fremi?

idle & load Temp @ 4.48 ? 4.2 HT?

Ambiant room 76f

idle both 39-42C

Prime 95 20 minutes 68-74C

Northbridge 35C at idle 42C under load

Both settings give similar thermal results for obvious reasons

Nice OC. If you plan to run intel burn test or linpack please fill us in on the temps.

You really think? Try running all dims full on any I7 near these speeds and watch what happends to the IMC and temps. But maybe there is still room for dropping voltage here n there...and pushing the clock up still.

What would help is to get the room down to 72 or so....the heat in this place is not zoned very well...
