i have a set of Hella supertones that i've been wanting to put in my Mini Cooper but havent' had the time. they were loud when i had them in my old tC. much better than wimpy tC horn. The stock Mini horn is not that bad though, part of the reason i put off installing the hellas.

I'm sorry "I can't help but laugh at the idea of you honking uncontrollably as someone totally ignores it and plows your car over 😀

People have tried to do it to me as well but my horn works fine in warding them off...

Why would I be embarrassed by driving a Yaris? I like my car. Should I care what other people think about my car? I just need a louder horn since the stock one isn't loud enough.
Why would you feel wimpy and embarrassed about your horn then? Should you care what other people think about your horn?

I don't feel wimpy because of my car's horn. I said that it is wimpy. I don't feel embarrassed by it. I just added that in the OP to give it a little dramatic flair. 😛

I don't give a shit what people think about my car. I like my car and it gets great fuel economy.

As mentioned above, I just need a louder horn so people stop almost changing lanes into me. It's a safety concern.

Edit:
Removed quoted post since it's right above this one.

Those things should be illegal. Some clown in my neighborhood has one installed in his Jeep. You can hear it everytime he uses it ... even if he's a mile away. The thing is so loud that you want to run up to his vehicle and pummel him to death.

It's just the most obnoxious thing I've ever heard.

Heh - my parents had a 1970 Fleetwood that the previous owner (strangely, an old lady) had installed an "oooga" horn on. My dad removed it and gave it to me, which I put on my Chevy Citation. That thing was a blast.
