Winter or not, you should allow cool air into the engine compartment.

Yeah it's even better in the winter..cooler denser air.

That is a nice car once you fix the rotors and the whole braking system on it. Its got a great motor, and its dependable as hell. The hood looks good, and the color with the wheels works well. I had a similar setup on a 87 crx with borbet wheels. Loved the silver/white look. The only thing i dont like about it, is it needs a good 1 inch to 1.5 inch drop on it. Throw some good coilovers on it. Then, it would be really sweet. Otherwise, it looks great. Drive the hell out of it. Like its a rental!

cracka out...

I think its funny that you put a hood on your car. And I'm not trying to troll, you did ask me what I think.

Ditto. I'm shocked that you even used what appears to be the standard "Ram Air" hood rather than some carbon-fiber giant-hole-in-the-top monstrosity. :)

Congratulations on having some taste.

It looks good, but... unless you're wealthy, think about what that $ could do if you put it in an IRA & earned interest on it till you're 65 or so.

I'm not throwing rocks, I didn't follow my own advice & have purchased & modded 5 brand new motorcycles & 4 brand new cars & modded all of them, (& enjoyed the modding & the end product mightily) :D

Nice wheels but I don't think they match the white Pontiac very well. The hood is pretty nice, but the front bumper has too much clearance to match its appearance. It'd be cool to match it with a body kit. It's alright to mod a grand am coz it'll be quite unique.

I dont care what you put on it, it's still a pontiac.

So were the old muscle cars.

That were V8 powered and RWD. What's your point?

hmm I have one that matches all that and it's a new muscle car. 04 GTO...Astaroth knows what I'm talking about ;). OP I like the hood, looks good! :)

That's the ONE Pontiac that lives up to its heritage!

too bad it's an aussie.

Drive an '02 jag X-Type now which is pretty fun ~>
Jag

I miss the grand am though!!!!! Always so damn fun to *MASH* in, damn cheap to pick one up too. I almost bought one of those hoods, but I crashed it before I got around to picking one up :p.

Haha, this is the problem with Grand Am's!!!!

It tempted me to be wreckless every time I drove it. It was dependable as h*ll for sure, awesome motor for the $$$.

A pontiac?

Did you install the accelerator in it yet? That should have been the first mod.

sorry mikey, but pontiacs dont suck. you obviously dont know cars. drive a TA WS6 and you will have a totally different idea of pontiac. my friend has one... and its a 12 second car and its not even blown. stock except for bolt ons. pontiac has changed in recent years. however, if you are a ricer, then everything sucks except something that gets 30 mpg and has to get somewhere near 5000 rpms to make any power.

Wow, that is a hell of a lot of pictures. For a car. Seriously, :Q You better have a naked chick in the backseat. Or trunk, as long as you have pics we won't tell.
