New hood for my car what do u guys think?

Not too bad actually.

I agree that you should find a different car to put money into but what you've done so far is tasteful.

I came in here expecting unpainted carbon fiber on a Civic.

Viper GTS

My friend has the same car blacked out. There are a few pics of his car on my site.

As for the hood being functional im thinking about fabricating a pipe that goes straight into my intake manifold or atleast having the hole blow over my k&n filter.

currently my filter is in the fender wall.

I always liked those cars for some reason, and used to lease a black 2000 GT. (I have since graduated to its big brother, the 2005 GTO, which has a similar hood.) How does it run and sound with the mods?

Is it at least functional?

right now i have the holes sealed with a piece of plastic for winter. come summer im gona make it functional

Winter or not, you should allow cool air into the engine compartment.

the hood in back has a nice gap where hot air is let out. engine is running a little bit cooler now. i thought it would be a better idea keeping the engine warm for winter as im not gona be beating on it like i do in warmer months.

Car runs fine and sounds really mean. i set off alarms left and right. once i get headers itll probly be raspy but still sound good. performance wise its quick but havent taken it to the track yet.

I dont care what you put on it, it's still a pontiac.

So were the old muscle cars.

That were V8 powered and RWD. What's your point?

hmm I have one that matches all that and it's a new muscle car. 04 GTO...Astaroth knows what I'm talking about 😉. OP I like the hood, looks good! 🙂

That's the ONE Pontiac that lives up to its heritage!

i'm just not feelin the car at all, sorry. those cars just aren't the cars to hook up IMO.

to each his own, no offense taken.

i just dont want to have the stereotypical hook up car like a civic, integra or wrx.

i couldnt really afford anything better, as im only 19 and just paid the car off myself
