ROFL someone says honda and all the sudden a bunch of people start screaming RICE!

Give me a break, it looks to be a good econobox. If they toss in the vteci engine in it, great! I won't be able to fit in it, but its still a fast little car.

My friend just sold his CRX and bought a Corrado. It was nice but kinda slow.

If they put a decent motor in it, it'll be a nice car...

Rumors from Automobile Magazine

Based on the next Civic, this two-seat CRX II features front-wheel drive and a 170-bhp 1.6-liter VTEC engine. ??

Im waiting for the Honda-Boy package to come out.

Comes with
.performance stickers for stuff not on car.
.Wheel camber bent out 15 degrees on the bottom.
.bolt on body kit.
.fake SIR stickers.
.etc.

of course this package brings the base price down about 2000.00

<< isn't the crx just the old name for the si? >>

The Civic CRX always was the CRX. But the Civic Del Sol here in US was called the Civic CRX in some other markets, a lot of people don't know that.

<< and isn't the integra really just a civic when you get down to it? >>

Not anymore. Since the introduction of the 3rd Gen, the Integra is a different platform from the Civic.

Hmmm... It actually dont look too bad...but u still have to take consideration of the rice factor...

/me imagines how it will look with a 4 inch tip, s#itty sounding muffler, "VTEC" banner on the windshield, ghetto rims, "drilled" and "painted" fake brake rotors, for their drums, ghetto ass ground effects, 50 pound aluminium wing, 20 pounds of stickers, and a fire extinguisher made to look like a NOS bottle.

Not really. I drive a '89 Chevy Beretta GT. I respect a lot of what so called "riceboys" do because infact, most of them do perform upgrades that IMPROVE the car.

Its the fact that everyone calls out the idiots who put touring spoilers, 20' rims, and gaudy body kits on their civics and then in turn generalizes that onto any import with some tasteful work done to it.

I know riceboys and I know car tuners like some of my friends. They don't fvck around and put stickers and bs all over their cars. They get performance upgrades and they drive their cars.

As for me, I'll have my rocket in another year or so. It won't be my current car, but it will definately have some of you screaming "RICE!"

i think he was making fun of the fact that every 17 year old will buy one just to lower it and add a body kit. 75% of all cars with lowered springs or a body kit have no engine mods at all, and thats why they are rice.

Its sad but most likely. Don't knock lowering a car though, my friends Sentra SE-R handles 10x better than it did stock with the suspension he put on it.

Its stuff that doesn't add any performance value whatsoever like body kits and 20' rims. Thats rice!

Hey, it's an Audi TT! It looks cool; hopefully they put a decent motor in there...not some anemic 1.1 liter, 97 hp POS. I had an '86 CRX. What a fun little car! Nice, big sunroof, plenty of room, even for my 6'1" frame.
