Hey fellas, Looking for some advice on what headset i should buy. Im looking to buy something from amazon in the $30-$50 range and im lost in what i should get. Can anyone recommend something?
 
I have the Creative Fatality USB headset, best phones I ever bought. There are better ones, but these are just great for price.
 
Do you want USB or the standard headphone and mic jacks? Either way you can't go wrong with Plantronics for that price range. But when it comes to headsets i prefer to find the set i want at a local retail. That way i can test them out for comfort before i go online to buy them.
 
what, most retail don't have the headsets for testing.
if you mean you buy and return, thats just immoral.

i bought a razer cacharias.

it works very well. little more expensive than your specified range, but.. i've had 4-5 headsets from your specified range, and every one of them failed. i moved to the razer because due to its construction it seemed like it'd be more repairable than those others should the connections begin to falter.
