New HD 2MB cache or 8MB cache??

I'm going to get a new Hard Drive but don't know whether to spring for a 8MB cache drive or a 7200rpm drive vs a 5400rpm one. Heres what I'm going to use it for:

I'll use this drive on a file server to store digital images ranging from 500K to 10MB in size. I want to store them on this server and open them on another machine on my network to edit in photoshop then close and save back.

Will a 8MB cache drive be an advantage for a use like this? Also do I really need a 7200rpm drive or will access times to the digital pics be fine at 5400rpm ...Thanks!!
