New Hardware Found

Hi All,

I rebooted my PC today (Win XP Pro) and the hardware wizard popped up saying new hardware was found. Trouble is, I haven't installed any new hardware in the past 6 months. I checked the Device Manager and under Other Devices, I see a yellow "?" and under that a device called, "we6db271". I have no clue what this is or where it came from.

Ran AVG, Spybot and Adaware6 and came up clean. No new USB devices of any kind. The device is currently disabled and before I delete it, I was hoping someone could tell me what it may be or how I can find out where it's installed on my system. I'm hoping someone didn't attach a key logger or something of that nature. Is there a software program that will do a system scan for hardware detailing when it was installed, etc.? Thanks.

System restore back to before it appeared in your Device Manager, and then see if it comes back.

Or just remove it from the list, and then reboot.

I suggest the System Restore.. as I looked the file name up on Google and found nothing
