Hi, just bought a Western Digital 80GB, the one with 8MB cache..
current configuration:
Quantum LM 20GB
3 partitions: C, D, E.
using Windows 98
Abit BE6 (UDMA/66)
i don't think i will use the 20GB hardrive again.
I want to partition the 80GB into 3 or 4 partitions.
Should i change my OS or add another OS?
I am thinking of installing WinXP. Mostly for CounterStrike, internet, MP3, MTV and storage... Not gonna have server... but sometimes big files transfer.
people please help me out which program i should use to partition and "ghost" everything to the new drives.
oh ya,.. right now.. I use to use Norton Disk Doctor for scandisk... i need to skip the "scan partition for error"(something like that).
cuz if i don't, Drive D and E will be gone becasue it said it has error. and simply the drive plus the space are gone. i need to format the whole harddrive and do everything over again...
so please help me out!!
