Well, in short, I am spending one or two full days in New Hampshire.

What can I do? I heard something about going on a train up Mt Washington. That's an option if I can get more details.

I really aprpeciate the "NH board of toursim" remark that will come, but I really want first hand info or atleast I want to know what sucks.

I'm looking for good places to eat, possibly historic. Museums, etc. I'll have plenty of time to hike later in the week in the Adirondac park so no out doors type stuff please ;)

PM Insane3D. He's lived here longer than I have.

Consider going to Portsmouth. I've heard it's very nice. Mt. Washington is also great.

Oh, I was at that video game arcade in NH in my college days. HUGE! And if you know of it, you know what I'm talking about.

Whereabouts in the state are you visiting/staying? Hampton beach is ok, but it's kinda lame nowadays. If you are going to check out the seacoast, Portsmouth or Rye are nicer areas. Inland, the white mountains and the White Mountain National Forest offer a ton of things to do, and yes, there is a tram. The lakes region is also nice this time of year, and there's lots of things to do on Lake Winnipesaukee (sp?).

Dates and where you are coming from and leaving to would help.
I worked at a summer camp for 3 years in Holderness, NH on Squam Lake.
