Hey all,
This is my first post here but i've been lurking for awhile. I just recently did my first build. Let me give you my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0
MSI P43 Neo 3-F
OCZ Reaper 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800
GeForce 9800 GTX
Xigmatek S963 92mm Cooler

I know absolutely nothing about overclocking but really want to learn about it. I'm not illiterate with PCs but I'm not advanced either. I don't know if OCing is something I should even attempt giving my lack of info on it. Is there an easy was to overclock this CPU with my current setup? I would like to overclock to something stable. I'm not interested in going balls to the wall with it(unless I can), just want to try to maximize it without changing any hardware. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Read the sticky at the top of this forum. Only thing I might change is to use Linpack instead of OCCT or Prime. It works faster at detecting errors.

Read Graysky's OC'ing guide. Go slow.
