Been checking the site out here for a while. Want to say it is great. and i was just curious as to how everyone found all these great deals. I would like to find them so i could not only help myself, but help everyone else out also. Please let me know. Glad to be part of the community.

to be successful here, all you have to do is post to a stupid thread. Most of us are computer dorks who don't have anything better to do except thread crap and annoy others.


so don't worry about the hot deals...post things like:

what is a MIR?
what is a NEF?
can somebody tell me what the hell B&amp;M means?
Post lots and lots of coupon codes that you get in the mail.

just keep posting stuff like that, you'll be sure to get a great response, and will be regarded as a hero in the anandtech community.

The folks here are not malicious, but some are less gracious than others.

Hey now, stop restating it already like you said. BTW this really does belong in somewhere else but I would actually do the search and read How Do I, and all those other good threads (see the top three threads always at the top in the hot deals forum).

Personally I get hot deals when I'm looking for something I need. I guess a lot of people here are like me always looking for new components. If you get real good at it you can basically afford to keep upgrading your pc with minimal cost. If you get excellent at it you can probably make a profit while upgrading your PC (by selling off your old stuff before it gets outdated to people on the bay who are nuts).

Anyway, lots of good people here but we try to keep the off topic threads to a minimum because this is a very busy place! Try visiting some of the other forums like Off Topic and General Hardware. Just don't get addicted to hot deals 😉.
