New Guitar Lesson site- probably the best out there

Been running it a few days now. The lessons are REALLY good. I did notice that the structured lessons seem to skip some material though. It's easy enough to go to since all the lessons are availabe, but you'll be doing fine then suddenly the video changes and your like "WTF did I miss???" 🙂

Wow, I'm treating this just like IRL lessons. I just can't find the time...

:| ... at self....

I decided to take the plunge for 1 month. The interface for selecting the lessons is kinda awkward, and since its in flash you cant use the back button, but the actual lessons themselves are pretty good, with nice tab pictures (which I wish I could save) and stuff.

Debating it for some advanced Jazz stuff... I'm tired of buying new books that end up sitting on my shelf because I lose interest... It seems that with books I always start out, then like halfway through the lesson I start messing with my guitar rig and kinda forget I was trying to work on something and just start jamming around...

I do the exact same thing...at least with the lessons offered, you have variety so if you get bored with one thing, you can try something else.

any updates on how you guys are doing? i tried learning guitar myself last summer but lost interest. I'm thinking of learning again.

I've been trying it out for a little while now, and am mostly pleased. I've had a few issues with the presentation engine crashing, but a browser restart seems to fix it.

Might sign up tomorrow. Fritzo, now that the Honeymoon is over, is it still useful?

I am having problems with the UI in Firefox (no audio) and it crashes under IE 🙁 Will try and update Flash.

It's definitely worth the money. They say they're adding new videos every week, but there are quite a few already out there, with quite a few teachers to choose from.
