Always wanted a semi-hollow body axe.

Pulled the trigger on a Gibson ES-339, which for you guitar guys is a 335 but in a Les Paul size. This thing is just an unreal player. I traded a guitar pretty much even for it that I never play anymore (PRS custom) and I couldn't be happier. This guy just SINGS.

It's a plain top but this one had so much wood grain texture to it, it's almost figured in person. I'll get some clips of it up soon, for now I'm rocking out.

Oh my god. I think I just creamed myself. 🙁 That thing is gorgeous. Though I would also take a PRS custom too 😉 Remember that next time. :| Was it a straight up trade? Or did you have to add $?

I've owned 3 PRS guitars and played about 50 others.. they're just pretty in my opinion. They have no soul and have ice pick highs on them.

Pretty to look at but that's about it. I wish they sounded as good as they looked.
 
I like Hollow-bodies.

I can't tell from your pictures - how thick is the body? I play a cheap Jay Turser Jazz Guitar that I really like.

I was going to get one of the cheaper gretsch guitars but i decided to get a hagstrom ultra swede for more versatility. Will see how it is sometime within the next 2 weeks hopefully.
 
Nice guitar. I've wanted to learn blues guitar for a while, and Gibon semi-hollows are my favorite for that kind of sound.
 
Very nice, among my 1995 USA Strat and my Gibson Explorer, I have an Ibanez Artcore hollowbody that I absolutely love that is very similar to that Gibby you have.
 
Ha! Even my Ibanez has binding on the F holes!

Just kidding man, that guitar rocks, nothing beats a Gibson.
