Title says it pretty much, either when are the new Macs (either iMac or MacPro) getting the new series of gpus? I doubt drivers are ready for them for a Hackintosh, but any idea when the Macs will ship with the new cards?
 
No one can say for sure. I suggest taking a look at; http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/ to track the upgrade cycles and when something is due for an update. GPU upgrades for apple products occur less frequently than cpu upgrades, which are usually 2 times per year (occasionally 3 per year).
 
I'm pretty sure the Mac Pro is going to have a Radeon HD3870 available really soon. But that's more of a sidegrade, not an upgrade.
