Yes it will be a huge uplift, 75% faster, and no it will not bottleneck.
Mabe a used $75 2600k overclocked should be your next cheap upgrade.

Go for it. Get a GTX 1660 though if the price difference is minimal..

i play mostly battlefield series and metro series

If you play BF Multiplayer then yes you will need a better CPU, for single player games you will be ok . But instead of the GTX1060 better go for the GTX1660Ti or wait for the new AMD NAVI cards.

For single player games you will be ok. The majority of 2019 AAA games like Metro Exodus are GPU limited with the RTX2060 even with old CPUs like the Core i5 2500K.

With only 4 threads, and not overclockable, pretty sure he will have stuttering with cpu intensive games with a 1060, even single player.

You will most likely want to upgrade your CPU at the same time. I would recommend upgrading to a 2600k or 3770k. They can be found for decent prices used. Then you should get a GTX 1660 or better IMO.

What are the models and how much do the respective options cost?

I just care about how easy is the customer service and rma and build quality which 1 choose? Boost clocks are almost same for both

whilst the 2500k was a fine CPU in it's time, you are going to be bottlenecked in some games today just due to the fact you only have 4 threads, a lot of recent AAA games will utilise 4 threads completely and I'd recommend at least an 8 thread CPU even if the game doesnt support 8 threads, windows scheduler will automatically run background tasks on other threads with more resources making it a smoother experience. Also as you don't overclock that's another bottleneck in itself as single thread performance is also just as important as having enough threads and a 8 year old sandybridge at 3.7ghz (boost!) is quite a bit slower than todays processors in single thread.
