I can't believe the speed at which Google is destroying themselves.

The new Gmail is being forced on everyone now and it is just awful. It's slow and laggy and completely ruins my workflow.

PS: I use to love Gmail, now I hate it.

My List::
1. Frames suck...I hate them. It just eats up usable space.
2. The ugly generic function icons across the top. Hard to identify.
3. The auto-collapsing labels are really annoying.
4. Themes are eyesores compared with the old ones.
5. SLOW and laggy feel of it compared with the older UI.

I don't understand why they feel the need to fuck with something that works perfectly.

Change is good, but when you're just doing cosmetic change just for the hell of it in the name of "progress." You can keep the change.
 
You guys can still revert to the old look? I've been reverting ever since they started with this shit, but just a few days ago they've forced the new theme on me. No more option to revert back.

F U Google.
 
Question for Gmail users, do you use FireFox or Chrome?

IE, Opera, Safari and Lynx users need not reply.
 
I fucking hate people doing shits just for jobs security. If the shit didn't break, don't try to "fix" it. You can innovate, but not by changing colors or completely break shits.

Use your time to do something else more constructive!

If I'm king for one day, all those people that sit around and think of useless shits to do to justify their existence, will die a horrible and painful death.

I was a very loyal Opera user who switched to Chrome when I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. It's uncluttered, fast and I also like the way it looks. Firefox is still king of extensions but Chrome Webstore is quickly getting up there.

I love Chrome except for one major gripe .. the title bar doesn't show at the very top. So if you have 20 threads open, I have to scoll to the top to see the thread title. Any fix for this?

Are you talking about how it just says "Anandtech Forums" on the tab?
 
It looks the same for me so presumably these are the changes that have been optional for a while.

The 'new' look is far better. The old one was horrendous. Put it down to the compact setting and it is nice enough.
