OK, also look at your "Init Display first" option, but I wouldn't think that would stop Windows from detecting your card.

yep, that's first thing I checked and it was already set to PCI 1

had to enable Fast Boot to enable EFI. I set VGA to EFI Driver and still no video card

I actually just upped the integrated video memory from 64 to 128mb and Google maps is fine so I really don't care now about the vid card. thanks anyway guys

Glad you were able to work around it. Depending on how much RAM you have, but you may want to up the video memory a bit more, but time will tell.

I don't know about you, but I am left wondering if the age of the card has something to do with this.

I would still consider emailing Gigabyte and seeing what they have to say about the matter.

Yes and about the 9800gt that wont work.but do on other system.this is funny.i don't like it
