tried both pop up pro and pop up cop, yet i'm getting these pop ups lately. they seem to open an entire new browser window, with toolbars, address bar, status bar, etc. and they're usually resized to fit the image they're showing as the only thing.

i'd give you an example but i can't find one right now :/

maybe this is only a problem on my comp since IE has been crashy lately. using Win98SE btw.

and the new generation of pop us are here, Gamespy sites for example, it will show you the pop up and you then have to click to continue onto the site. In other words no pop ups no site. Lame real Lame. No pop up killers will here you there.

All you have to do is click the "continue to site" button. You don't actually have to click on the ad, its just there.

Once in a while when running IE6 a pop up add comes up in the background. Its title is simply BLANK. That is the title name and there is nothing usually in the popup other than the title. I can tell when a popup is opening in the background because it makes IE6 do a quick blink. Minimize IE6 and you can delete the popup. :frown:

True but thats like opening up the door to the internet for other programs on your computer to get through without you knowing it too.
