Sort of.

Everyone was underwhelmed by Halo until just before the launch of the Xbox when it was closer to its final build. That was when they hype started building.

The hype for GoW has been going on for a much longer time...since before the launch of the 360.

Of course, according to reports of everyone that has played it, the hype is well-earned.

Meh I still think PGR3 looks better, now as far as gameplay, I have no doubts Forza 2 will be better.

Man...I thought PGR3 looked like ASS. I will NEVER understand why people use that as a barometer of graphics quality. The whole thing just looks like plastic... and bad plastic at that.

PGR3 is a rare example where the screen shots look a LOT better than the actual game.
