TextIf you don't mind an unattached (clip-on, table-mount, whatever) mic, you have a LOT of worthwhile headphone choices. If you want a headset (integrated mic), the Sennheiser PC150 and PC160 are nice enough.

mwhahaha i already have the PC150's and open ear headphones bother me when they're on too long.

As for the PSU i was looking into this, its modular and has an efficieny of >70%, not to mention the MTBF of 80,000 hours.

I guess expansion cards are a must if i wanna save money.

thx for feedback

Still sure you're going with an Intel? The budget CAN go under $3600 with an X2 now...

If you find supra-aural ("pads sit on top of the ears") headphones uncomfortable, there are many good circumaural headphones out there, although you'll have to go with a clip-on mic if you don't want something crap and/or overpriced. What's your price range, and do you want any isolation (noise blocking)?

$116 is a lot to pay for a PSU of that calibre, no offense to NeoPower owners (of course). It should work fine unless it's defective, though, and it's cheaper (and likely a little better) than that ThermalTake. It's your call, since this is a much more reasonably priced unit.

I don't know how you built this cheaper then a compairable A64 X2 but that theory has many flaws. Starter If you need 6-8 Ports (chich it seems that you do) getting an extra card would be useless on a A8N SLI deluxe Which has 4 Nvida and 4 Silcon Images ports and both support raid for their own connectors. So cut off 50 for the Card and 80 for the Board. You memory Choice is horrendus 430 for 2 gigs. I just ordered Cas 2 3200 (all you need if you don't overclock) XMS corsair memory for $241 for 2 gigs this isn't low quality memory. So take off 190 for memory. Right here we are looking at a total savings of 320. So for the Proc you could add this 320 to your 335 which will leave you at 650. It would only be an extra $70 (worth it in my opinion) dollars to get the X2 4400+ from newegg. While newegg usually has good prices they have fun price guageing on high end short supply objects. You can get it for 650 almost anywhere else which would put you right in line with the P4 machine and much faster. I would not reccomend the Thermaltake on face value but can't give you a experienced reason. It also looks like you forgot the case (unless you mentioned it later) I would look at the P180 (if your not moving it a little heavy but quite and has really good cooling caracteristics) or the P160 (Light made entirely out of Aluminum and Plastic, feature rich, and has good colling caracteristics).

From someone that isn't a Intel or AMD fanboy (just someone who loves logic/facts) go with the X2.

It has similar results compared to the Pent. D in encoding, and blows it to hell when it coms to games.

Take care.

And at most would only cost $70 dollars more.

Just a fyi:

If you don't know, you wont get surround sound in games from that Audigy2 in digital mode.

Now that i think of it Creative has an Audigy replacemnt that is supposer to be balls to the wall cool. I might recommend that you wait till it debuts (couple of weeks i think) before picking up an Audigy because a.) it might be better for what you need and b.) he Audigy prices should go down if you want to stick with it.
