I am preparing to build a new computer. I was wondering if the Eggexpert Round 2 winner -

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboB...t=Combo.549053

was a solid choice, or if I would be able to get a better priced kit during black friday/cyber monday, or even using current prices. The monitor I have is 1080p, so that is the resolution this PC will be used for. Any advice on this kit, or the construction of alternatives in the $800 range would be more than awesome. I am open to any and all suggestions! Also, I have a Frys and Microcenter relatively close, so those as well as the big daddy egg are possibilities.

Alternative Intel build...

Antec Three Hundred Illusion $70
i5-760 $205
GIGABYTE GA-P55-USB3 $120
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR3 1600 $65 ($60 After Promo)
GIGABYTE GTX 460 1GB $180 ($170 AR)
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB $55
SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze $60
LITE-ON DVD-burner $17

$762 after promo codes
Free shipping on all items except the PSU, which adds about $10.

For a bit more money, you get a quad core i5. It's a bit better overall than the 965.
1TB HDD instead of 500GB. (Probably a bit faster too)

I noticed in the gigabyte 460 reviews, many people were having problems with it after a month or two. Is this card more prone to failure or what? That price is awesome, just want to question the reliability first.

I really like the Intel build, I am heavily considering going with the parts you provided. Thanks man.
