You got 5 years out of the GTX 770 albeit with reduced settings, so you'll probably be able to get 5 years out of its equivalent. That's the GTX 1080, or the upcoming (date TBD) GTX 1180/2080. Considering the GTX 1080 is already 2 years old, if you get it today you might only be satisfied for 4 years.
But your GPU will hold you back in many games. Even if you can get it to around 4.5Ghz then you'll run into some issues with games wanting more than 4 threads. A new build with an i7 8700k should be much better in 5 years (6 cores, 12 threads, higher IPC and clocks).
