New gaming headset

Hey guys,

I need a new gamins headset, my current model, a USB Logitech job is too tight on the top of my head. The audio and voice quality is just fine for my needs, but I can't bring myself to wear it for too long on account of the discomfort it causes me. Any suggestions for a high quality, comfortable gaming headset? Would around the back of my head be a more comfortable option? Links would be great.

If it has to be a headset, plantronics make some decent pairs. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, get the logitech extreme gamer headset that wraps around the back. My friend bought a pair and had 6 break on him in 2 months. (Warranty)
