8350 would definitely not be my choice for gaming, but I am with the OP on the SSD. I dont have an ssd, and definitely do not feel that there is anything wrong with my system. Would certain things be faster with an SSD? I suppose, but for the usage that I do, I certainly do not sit there thinking "damn, I wish excel would open in 0.5 seconds instead of 1.5.(just guessing, an example, before someone disputes those figures.) And I usually just go to sleep mode, so boot times are not a big deal either. Granted, I dont do a lot of anything that includes heavy file transfers, I am sure there are cases where a SSD is a major time saver, but I am very happy with my system without one.
