New games in the next few months to test the 8800 GTX?

Basically, I recently sold my 7950 GX2 for a profit (bought for £320, sold for £380). My original plan was to buy an 8800 GTX for £420. But I've ordered an Xbox 360 Premium with COD3 and Gears of War on pre-order.

I figured out that the only PC game I ever play anymore is CSS.
And even then, I use the lowest settings possible because I'm a pro :p

I've played through Company of Heroes already.
So my question is, till R600 and 8900 what games will be released worthy of the 8800?

If there's nothing too spectacular I may just buy an X1950 XT for £180 and save the rest to cover the expenses of my 360. Also, is the X1950 XT the best budget high end GPU to get?
Considering I may give COD2 and Fear a quick blast every now and again.

Thanks guys

x1950xt is faster than the pro. Although your 7950gx2 i think was faster than the x1950xt.

Also just because youve beat company of heroes doesnt mean theirs not online play.

Yea but to be honest, I'm a CSS addict.
Dont really have time for any other PC games....not till Spore, Bioshock, Quake Wars, Crysis and so on. I have Final Fantasy 12, Zelda Twilight princess, Gears of War etc to get through too!

I love my x1950xtx. It's really quite compared to the older x1900's. Plus if all your looking to do is play CSS and everyonce in awhile fear or something intense like that it will do fine. I don't know what the prices are going to be like where you live, but I would almost suggest a 8800gts. This would give a really good card that should be able to hold up to even the hardest games. I expect it's price to be about in line with what the x1950xtx costed right out of the gate, but time will tell. Just throwing some suggestions out there for you.

Here's the price line up.

8800 GTX - £420

8800 GTS - £340

X1950 XTX - £300

X1950 XT - £180

X1950 Pro - £150

As you can see, the X1950 XT just stands out in that list as a really good bargain.

Gothic 3, Neverwinter Nights 2, Supreme Commander, Unreal Tournament 2007, MS Flight Sim X, Medieval 2: Total War...those are just the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. I'm not including some of the games already out right now such as Company of Heroes, Oblivion, or FEAR EP.

Is UT2k7 coming out before 2007?
If so I might consider the 8800 GTX again :p

But out of the above cards, as a budget high choice.
Would you guys say the X1950 XT was the best choice, factoring in the price etc.

I saw World In Conflict (proably be out late 2007) on a website saying it's going to use directX 10, but i can't for the life of me remember what site so don't quote me on this.
