Don't know if anyone's ever played this game, but it's pretty fun. Here's the rules:

I give you a scene, and you have to ask yes or no questions and come up with the events that led to the present state. If you've played this game, or know the answer, please don't post!!

Ok, here's the scene:

A man lies naked in the middle of the desert, his clothes strewn out in a line behind him. He has a straw in his hand and there are no car tracks or footprints anywhere near him.

How did he get here?

Almost sounds like the beginning for Timeline, except he wasn't naked.

Nevertheless, that was a GREAT book 🙂

straw? hmm im game, was he soaking wet??

and timeline was pretty good.. nice read, any one read &quot;enders game&quot; by orson scott card?
 
he was flying his magic carpet, and his was drinking (a little too much) hence the straw, and since we all know you shouldn't drink and fly magic carpets he fell off and died, leaving only the straw with him
 
Not a drinking straw, not wet, wasn't used for breathing,

*wangel, it's not a riddle, and that isn't really necessary to the story.... you only tell what's really necessary.
 
i know, was he in a hot air balloon, and he was throwing his clothes out to get rid of ballast, then they threw him over because he was weighing it down, and he was blowing the balloon with a straw?
 
you're getting close donald, but you're missing some details...it's better to ask questions than to throw out wild guesses.
 
He was in a hot air balloon, and he was throwing clothes out because of weight.......some of the clothes were not his though....this might be too much of a clue.
 
i know!!! ok the guy was donaldduck82,75,33,22,HIKE! and girlfriday came in the thread to play and he was neffing, in illinouis, and she threw him to the desert, and whilst he was flying thru the air from her great neff throwing toss, he grabbed the straw from a passing bird, and when he landed he skidded and his clothes came off perfectly intact.
