Combines City Building & RPG - sounds a little like Majesty.

Graphics aren't too bad, not state of the art but quite passable.

Direct Download only (Steam I think), about $20.

They mentioned the Stardock model in an interview, hopefully that means there won't be some ridiculous DRM with it.

Is the Stardock model (no DRM whatsoever) actually possible via Steam?
 
I was on vacation last week, and my laptop is pitiful for gaming, so I was reduced to playing Dungeon Siege to get in some gaming. Over the same time period I had a serious itch to play some old skool Sim City, so I read this thread and gave it a look.
I like what I see, and $20 is a good price. Reading the preview right now ..
 
Yeah, this is being developed by Tilted Mill. They were the creators of Children of the Nile, and its the same team from Impressions Studios, creator of Pharaoh, Caesar series, and so forth.
