New FX show airs tonight..The Bridge

I'm sticking with my policy of not watching shows with dumb, arbitrary names that advertise constantly, yet give you no fucking clue of what they are about.

List of ideas for new shows:

The Guy
The Building
The Shirt
The Lamp
The Toyota Corolla

What a stupid show. Bad acting, boring story, and how the hell can you not know who left the body on the bridge? Dont they check IDs before you go up there? And why was it empty the time the killer dumped the body.

I want my hour back.

The concept intrigues me...but the acting wasn't good. I hate when they start a show and EVERYONE is mysterious. So you have to watch a full season to get any background at all on main characters. A little back story isn't a bad thing, but apparently a lot of writers think it is. I'll give it a couple more episodes...but if there not drastic improvements in a lot of areas, that may be it.

i watched the pilot then ep2 last night. so far i like the show. definitely different than i thought it would be, as i thought it was about the cartel. but i like the setting and story so far and will continue to watch.

it's no sons of anarchy or the shield, but it's decent thus far. i thought the acting was just fine as well.

Snooze fest. Another cop drama with no real hook. I got bored about around when they move the body and it split.

Better than Ian Ziering and Tara Reid in Sharknado?

Nah, It was just that bad. I have no problem sitting down and reading 700-1000 page novels.

well they showed that about 10 minutes into the show, so yah, you gave it about 10 minutes.

and i'm not saying it is the greatest show ever or even close. it's just okay. interesting enough that i will continue to watch.

i'm surprised nobody mentioned the clever moralizing plot of the half-american, half-mexican body, lied across the border. what a stroke of genius!

Warning: this post contains Sarcasm

Pilot was so so. Better than "The Killing" this season; so bad it should be pulled.

Wow. The Bridge and The Killing are two of my favorite current shows . . . but then I have adult, non-cartoon, non-action/incessant jump cut, non-ADD/need for continuous surface gratification tastes.

I happen to like atmospheric shows that unspool slowly with genuine, offbeat character development that lie outside of the canon of traditionally juvenile Marvel/Action Hero/cartoon/cardboard/comic book/car chase/Look! It's a misunderstood mutant type of drivel . . . but that's just me, and I'm obviously posting in the wrong litter sandbox. 😉

I loved The Killing until the final minutes of the first season.

No more after that.
