The long-in-the-works Frasier followup is finally a reality. Paramount+ has given a series greenlight to the multi-camera comedy, executive produced by Kelsey Grammer who is reprising his signature character, psychiatrist-turned-radio host Frasier Crane.

Details about the new series are also not being revealed beyond the fact that it is focused on Frasier Crane’s (Grammer) next chapter in a different city. He will be surrounded by new characters, with original Frasier cast members not expected to be series regulars but could make guest appearances.

As one of my favorite all-time shows, I hope it ends up being good.

The new series without any of the other original cast members being regulars on the show is definitely concerning because they all balanced/complimented each other so well, but I still hope it ends up being way better than the whole Roseanne / The Connors reboot.

I didn't mind the Frazier character on Cheers...but never could get into the stand-alone show.

The series cannot go on without Niles. Some other notables from Frasier that were excellent. Bulldog and Frasier's his crazy agent Bee Bee.

Sad to say because I liked the original show but this looks like a lame a$$ money-grab on the part of CBS and I'm really not interested.
