Wtf. Last night I dreamed I saw "Firefox 3.4" or something like that, telling me there was a new version out. And no, I usually don't dream about browsers.

How come the software still registers as 0.8 in help->about and in the installation?

edit: AHHH and what happened to my extensions?! I can't find anywhere to install them!

Technically it appears to be FireFox 0.8.0+ which i'm not sure is correct or a mistake

Guys, its just a Release Canidate, they always have some reference to the previous versions.. all the eye candy will be added later.

Well it's definitely different from 0.8, but since its RC they probably just haven't updated the installer yet.

For all the web developers out there, make sure to install the developer toolkit during custom install. Very cool stuff! And yes, it does migrate all your passwords and cookies over from .8.
