Fileplanet.com - I remember when the old FilePlanet seemed to be a page with "loads" of files most of them were very slow and "un-downloadable." It seems the same thing has happened. Is anyone else having the hardest time downloading something from their "advanced system called the FilePlanet Download System"?

Check out this little piece of news they've posted:

The days of guaranteed downloads are at hand. The next version of FilePlanet is now open. This new version of the site includes an advanced system called the FilePlanet Download System [FPDS]. The FPDS detects when one of the FilePlanet mirrors is full and gives you the option to wait a few minutes for an available connection. Click on the handy little "Let's Go" button and FPDS saves your place in line. It is sort of like a friend that waits in line for you to buy movie tickets. Except that the friend in this scenario is saving your spot for the Internet's largest collection of gaming-related files. And this friend won't ask you for popcorn or hit on your date.

I just hate it when people lie. :|

[edit] Could be because they just opened, but, I highly doubt it ;) [/edit]
