New FedEx driver makes me like FedEx more than UPS now

The FedEx man that has delivered my Newegg orders the last couple times is WAY better than the last driver. Last part I ordered was my XP2500... it was scheduled for delivery on a Thursday, and he delivered it to me on Wednesday... unlike the last guy, who had it on his truck on Monday, but it wasn't scheduled till Tuesday, so he drove right past my house. Maybe my Raptor will come today =)

I don't judge a company by what point of contact it uses with me, but if they don't follow up with an apology/concession I then judge them.

Ie... Customer Service agent refuses to give me credit on something. I get pissed @ company.... but then when I talk to someone in corporate or some type of supervisor and they end up giving me a credit, faith is restored back in the company. (But they need to train reps to be more customer service friendly these days)

I've said that all along in the UPS vs. FedEx debate... always said I preferred UPS because the FedEx driver in my area was a fool... now that there's a new driver who actually does his job, I prefer FedEx because their route comes through my neighborhood early in the afternoon, sometimes before noon... and UPS comes around 5 or 6 in the evening. So with FedEx... I have all afternoon to tinker with my new parts from Newegg. =)

lol... the UPS driver here is good, and nice... but his route comes through here too late... it's not really worth delivering today if it's delivered in the middle of dinner, and then I have no time to play with it until the next day.

I know both of my drivers. UPS driver is my dad, Fedex driver I've known for probably 3 or 4 years just because I get so many packages. Both will deliver my packages early, treat them with care, and will even bring packages to my house after they get off if I can't be there to sign for them.

I prefer Fedex over UPS just because UPS likes to hold on to my packages while Fedex delivers them at the earliest chance so in the end Fedex gets here faster than UPS . And besides... Newegg... Fedex Free Super Saver Shipping = fast.

I just got a new set of golf clubs delivered throuh fedex. I don't I ever been home before for the fedex person. It's a chick..and damn she is a cutie....She can deliver my package any time.
