Like my avatar? In my sig are links to some scenes from one of my new favorite movies. My wife hated it for some reason. (I think she thought it was really stupid.) I thought this movie was a riot! This girl stole the show! I hope she wins an Academy Award or something.

Yeah it was a pleasant surprise, Nicolas Cage threw me off guard as well and he wasn't too shabby either. The advertisements made it look like a kid movie but as soon as I saw the scene with him throwing the tissues away after whacking off over and over I knew it had a chance to be pretty epic.
 
Actually I think someone else on here has Hit Girl as their avatar too. Can't place the username though... something-Bandit?
 
It was a good movie but your favorite? Have you seen a lot of "good" movies? I dunno, my favorite is still There Will Be Blood.
 
I never said it was my favorite movie, lol. I said it was one of my favorites, which puts it in a pantheon of probably more than 100 movies.

I love the movie. Nicholas Cage was great, that little chick was awesome. I was surprised by it, I didn't really want to watch it but got bored one day and did. I'm glad I did. I can only hope that one day my daughter will be like her.
 
I fucking hated that movie. Whats wrong with you people? It started off good, then turned into complete shit (think Grandma's Boy-bad). Both of you with Hitgirl avatars should be embarrassed. I've wanted to say something to you about it, PB.

There was a very distinct point when it seemed like someone handed the unfinished script to a bunch of stoned monkeys and asked them to finish it.

It was a dark comedic satire! It was meant to be over-the-top and silly!
 
I watched it and was entertained here and there, but thought it kind of lost direction a few times. I might give it a solid 6.5 or 7 out of 10, but there's no way it would touch my all-time top 100. Everyone has different tastes though.

I'm not complaining that it was over-the-top or silly. Halfway through it just got FUCKING STUPID.

Why did the professional "real" heroes devise a way for the sloppy amateur to contact them without revealing their location to him? The first time he contacts them, they simply sent him their location and he led the bad guys directly to them...resulting in pain, suffering, death, and disaster.

Why does the "bad guy" kid keep changing his mind for NO GOD DAMN REASON?!
